We are recruiting our Sales Application Engineer - Strategic Accounts - Energy Transition, several locations possible across EMEA (United Kingdom, Germany, France, Netherlands, Austria, Spain, Italy)

What you’ll do:

The Sales Application Engineer Strategic Accounts – Energy Transition plays a vital role in this mission. As a technical bridge between large international customers and Eaton's sales and engineering teams, you will use customer input and sales data to design, develop, test, and implement complex hardware and software applications.

Your main duties will include:

  • Crafting custom solutions, programs, and applications to meet unique customer needs.

  • Executing testing scenarios and simulations to optimize offerings.

  • Providing ongoing technical support, from application start-up through warranty period

  • Analyzing customer needs and problems, then recommending solutions to the engineering team

  • Performing analyses on hardware and software applications, and providing technical expertise

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in software engineering, electrical engineering, power electronics, computer science, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience in application engineering within a sales environment

Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of software and hardware application development, installation, and maintenance

  • An exceptional ability to drive application innovation by analyzing consumer and competitor trends.

  • The skill to evaluate client feedback and improve application functionality.

  • Advanced aptitude in documenting processes, running diagnostics, and resolving errors.

  • Proficiency in providing technical product and services support.

  • A customer-oriented mindset, hands-on problem-solving abilities, and a solutions-driven approach

  • Fluency in English
